Suits help please

Jemima Renrut, 29 June, 2013 at 17:10 Posted on Planning 0

Trying to decide what we actually want before we book the fittings. OH wants to stand out and also his best man. We're also trying to cut costs so so far I have him and his bm in tailcoats with waistcoat and cravat we picked, then our two ushers in single breasted suits with ties the same colour as the cravat. The lack of waistcoat and cravat saves us money. Now what do we put the dads in? Suits with waistcoat? I think mine should stand out a bit but OH says why shouldnt his aswell. Help!

    Wow - a brave groom!

If he wants to stand out then he can with a coloured suit, or something different like a Nehru suit, which is less traditional and often cheaper, lots of options other than top hat and tails - but if that is what he really wants you'll be able to find a good price if you shop around. Department stores and the high street are not going to haggle, but keep an eye for a sale or special offer - they do sometimes have them.

    Good luck!
