Surplus Smoked Salmon

Hi,

I hope everyone has had a great Christmas and ready for Hogmanay and a great 2009 - I know I am! Big changes afoot!

On another note, I seem to have a major surplus of Smoked Salmon, tonnes (exaggerating slightly) of the stuff.

What can I do with it? I was thinking of /food/recipes/smokedsalmonpate_66102 but I wonder if that would be okay to freeze? I have salmon coming out of my ears so can't eat it, any freezable suggestions?

Meep! have you been on since your chat with eric and (whoever else it was)? you ok or have i already missed an update?

as for SS it goes fab in fish pie, and also with a creamy and lemony pasta sauce

edited to add...SS freezes really well by itself too, only make sure you split it into portions first, and not just freeze it in it's heee-yoooge packet like mr c did ☹️

its still in the freezer. can't think what on earth i'll need that much SS all at once for. ☹️

I had updated sort of a couple of days later but I've been lying low for the past few weeks, lurking though.

Things seem to be getting a bit better, hopefully will stay that way, thanks for asking.

I think I'll just freeze the SS (in portions lol) and use it every so often
