SUZE!

jen52637, 7 December, 2008 at 18:11 Posted on Planning 0 6

Haha, sorry for the capitals, I'm a little overexcited! ?

We LOVE Cameron House! We're able to have 40 guests for the ceremony and meal in the Morning Room, then 100 in the Lomond Suite for the ceilidh and buffet afterwards! And it's not even all that expensive! I am seriously so beyond excited I might cry! ?

    Thats great!!

We loved it when we stayed there for 3 nights. The room was gorgeous, quite a big suite, food was fab and the weather and scenery was beautiful!

    Lucky you!

Aw Jen that is fantastic news!! Did they take you round to see everything? Have you chosen a date yet? Ooh how exciting ?

I had a bit of good news today too, read in the paper that Live on Loch Lomond is not on next year, it would have been on our wedding day and it would have been a nightmare with traffic, so now don't need to leave Glasgow as early so can have a nice relaxing morning getting ready and not have to worry about being late by being stuck in traffic ?

    xx

    Thank you both!

Yeah, Lynsey took us round (although we couldn't see the Lomond Suite as there was a lunch on). We have to have it on a Sunday because of numbers so are thinking of a Sunday in early September 2010, will hopefully book it in a week or two. Both sets of parents want to look round and ask questions before we book anything and we need to go back to see the Lomond Suite (any excuse!)

Aw well that's awesome! I hadn't even thought of Live on Loch Lomond! That's great you don't need to worry about traffic, that would have been a nightmare on your big day!

Thats brilliant, you will love the Lomond suite, it has a huge dance floor and doors out into the gardens and gazebo at the back, think they are doing the garden up so it will be even nicer than it is already ?

Lynsey is organising our wedding too, I haven't met her yet though as the original girl that was looking after us has left recently.

Have you decided on anything else for your wedding? Are you going to have your ceremony at Cameron House too?

    xx

    Aw, yay! ?

Lynsey seems very nice (although we did only speak to her for about 20 minutes)!

We've not really decided on anything else yet, got some ideas and some contacts for other things though. What about you? I'm guessing you'll have more things organised! It's next year you're getting married, isn't it? We are planning on having our ceremony at Cameron House too, getting married in the library which is also gorgeous!

It's so exciting to have a venue twin! ?

Yeah I have spoken to her on the phone and she seems really nice, think that makes a huge difference!!

Yeah we are pretty organised, my dress and bridesmaid dresses came in last week so got to try my dress on in my size-it was so exciting, it made it all seem real ?

Yeah next August we are getting married, the time is flying by. We are having the ceremony at Luss church, we were really lucky that our date was free!

I know you are the 1st person I know that is getting married at Cameron House too ?

Aw, wow! Sounds lovely, it'll be here before you know it! You must be getting so excited! Is it Iain Miller who's marrying you? We'll probably ask him as he seems to be the minister that does all weddings in the area. Just wondered if you'd met him and what you think of him. It's been a long time since I've been to church ? but still want a religious ceremony, just nothing too over the top religiousy if you know what I mean!

We're going to Cameron House again this weekend with both sets of parents so they can see it too, and so we can see the Lomond Suite! I can't wait to see it again! ?
