    Hi Rhea,

Well done on the weight loss! Your doing great! I'm not sure if SW are doing any offers for new members at the moment but if not the "joining Fee" is £10. This includes your folder with all the information you need to get started (or in your case continue) which has your food optimising book and food diaries ect.

Then each week its £4.50 (or if you are a student £4.25). You can buy slimming world books at the group with lots of recipies etc.

As a group member you can purchase the Slimming World Magazine for £1.75 which is a saving on the RRP you also get the password eack week so you can use the website.

Once you get to your target weight (which you decide to set) you then become a free member and as long as you stay within the target range 3lbs above or below then you contine to be free.

    HTH

    Good luck!

Becky x (Now a target member after losing 2 stone 7.5 lbs)

I'm not sure so don't quote me on this but I'm sure Slimming World only let you join if you have 1 stone or more to lose. I might be wrong though. If I remember, I can check on Tuesday unless anyone else on here knows.

I lost over 3 stone then tried to do sw on my own but ended up gaining 18lbs again so had to go back to class. I love the group discussions we have a laugh.

    Good luck

Thanks Rhea, It took me 8 months to get to target. I have only been target for a month now but enjoying not paying for classes. Can't beleive my baby will be 1 in a week and I have already managed to lose all my baby weight plus and extra 1.5 stone that I have been carrying for 6 years!

I hope you manage to find a lovely group that you can enjoy going to.

You have to have 7lbs or more to lose, and be at least 7lbs over their guideline for a healthy minimum weight. So if you're 5ft6 for example, you need to weigh at least 9st5 to be allowed to join.
