Just checking how you're all getting on. I lost 2lbs this week which i;m really pleased with. Finding it hard to completely stick to, but I must be making the right choices most of the time to have lost 2lbs. Roll on this week.

I went to our new group and it seems nice, the leader was on holiday so there was a replacement so will wait 'till next week to see what she's like. Altho it did confuse things abit as they have gone over to the new cards and we were still on paper at the last group - all set up now tho......

I lost 1lb which is good but I had hoped for a little more.....

    Keep it up girls

    DD xx

(PS sorry for the individual messages I can never remember names to do it all on one !)

Can i join in? I am joining SW tonight, have followed it for a week, i think, from just trying to remember what you could do from last time i did it. I also bought the mag which has some good recipes in it.

determined to stick to it, and have been exercising more that usual.

It's annoying when work gets in the way, isn't it! It happens a lot with me, so I've found a second group which meets on a different night near home - I go there if I can't make my usual rendezvous!

Actually i didnt think to find another one? i am going to see how i get on with the diet this week, i have found the mag very helpful, so might just do it from home or online, as i work funny hours, so getting to classes is often a pain

    Hi all,

How are you all doing? I hope all is well.

This week I got a certificate and a sticker! I know how my 3 yr old feels now when she gets them.

I am slimmer of the week, except I forgot about the fruit bowl that you're supposed to take home. I'm sure the others will share it out.

    Ribena.

I need a kick up the bum. I haven't been for 2 weeks as I've started a new job and am finding it hard to get there. I know I've put weight on so i don't really want to go tomorrow.

Mad - here is a very gentle kick up the bum for you!!!! You must go to class, no-one will think badly of you for gaining (and you might not have done, wait until you weigh in!). And if you have gained, then you know you can shift it again. Go and get some encouragement from your fellow slimmers who all know exactly how you feel!

Thanks for the kick GMT, i went, I put on 3 lbs, which isn't disasterous, but isn't great. I worked hard to lose those pounds, and now i've got to do it all again. However i have been good, and am back on tract for now. Does anone else find that some weeks they can eat rubbish and still lose weight? I think thats my problem. i know there's a certain amount of leeway...but instead I eat chocolate or crisps each day telling myself i'll get back to it the next day. Usually after weigh in I'd come home and 'treat' myself to a few nice bits, but I didn't think week, I thought I'd see how it goes and maybe I can have a peice of mother's day cake on sunday if I've done ok.

Ive always fund that if I have a bad week thne I'm fine that week but it catches up wtih me the next week!

I'm also in the camp of 'treating' myself after wi with something like a takeaway or choc etc. Trying to get out of this now though and this week went home and cooked a normal tea which is good!!

MAD, well done for going, and don't worry: you'll soon shift the 3 pounds. Think about how far you have already come - you can go further, for sure! As for eating rubbish and still losing weight, I think it all catches up with you in the end!

Well done Womderstuff on the weight losses, I bet the girls who joined at the same time as you are very envious!

I've been really good, stuck to the plan, although somedays Im not having my hex a (Extra easy - 1 hexa), but other than that no gone over my syns or anything xx

Sometimes we don't feel like we've lost but we have - if you've followed the plan and haven't cheated (!!!) there's no reason why you shouldn't lose. Body cycles not withstanding, of course, they do get in the way sometimes in spite of our best efforts. But in such cases, you'll lose the following week as your body catches up with itself, IYSWIM.

Make sure you do have your HE A as calcium is an important factor in weight loss, but is also vital for healthy bones etc.

Thanks GMT, Ive had cereal this mornin other wise I wouldnt have had my a again, I dont really drink hot drinks and only have cheese sprinkled on spag bol etc, and we've run out til pay day now anyway!!!

Feel a bit better today, I dont know what was wrong with me last night, but I have stuck to it so ill be pissed off if dont loose something! We shall see tomorrow I suppose!

On another note, its a taster night at my class tomorrow, any ideas of something quick and easy i could take? I was goign to try and make 'fake' forrero rocher (ie, golden syrup, ryvita and nuttella mushed together amde into balls, around 1 syn each) but Im not sure as I've never tried them, they might be rank!!! Any ideas??

Oh, they sound nice, is it just a boiled egg, wrapped in the sausage meat, the crumbs and baked in the oven? My h would like those, he is a scotch egg fan!!

Yep that is it, I add some boiling water to the scan bran and salt and pepper and paprika then squish it around the edge then i think it takes about 20 mins on 180

Just a bit of a whinge. I was supposed to be making a fresh start this week, but I came down with tonsillitis on mothers day, and am feeling really really pants. I've been drinking milk as it sooths my throat but thats obviously not good for sw. I'm a bit disapointed. (and on top of feeling really poorly) it's leaving me feeling a bit down. Weigh in is tonight and I've let the leader know i won't be there, so much for a fresh start.
