Just checking how you're all getting on. I lost 2lbs this week which i;m really pleased with. Finding it hard to completely stick to, but I must be making the right choices most of the time to have lost 2lbs. Roll on this week.

Wow Josie, how on earth did you loose 5lb in one week?!?!? Thats amazing. Is there any way you could post your food diary so I can maybe get some tips???

Just had my wi and I lost 1.5lb, so that 9lb in 3 weeks which i'm quote pleased with (Although prob put it on as we had KFC for tea after wi!)

We are going away for the weekend for a party so i just know I'm going to drink my body weight in alcohol and want to eat crap, oh well, never mind!!

I lost 4lb this week, but it was a short week as I weight last fri then had a weigh in on wed as my consultant couldn't see me on the normal day.

I had chicken and spinach curry, chicken kievs, mousakka and chinese chicken with cabbage. I have all the recipes if you want them?

I have a couple of the recipe books but also have printed off loads of recipes online which are in a folder, I find it easier to make a food list at the beginning of the week and buy what I need so I know what I am making.

During the day I have bacon, mushrooms and eggs, or a tuna salad, I tend to do more red days than anything and don't really get on with extra easy, it is fine but I lose more doing the original plan.

shout if you want any recipes

So, Im back on it now, wi on Weds so hope to stay the same if poss. That would mean Ive relost if I put any on!

5 weeks until my hols and hoping for a good weight loss in that time xx

    Hi all,

I am following SW at home with my mum and my sister. We started today, mum has done it before and has all the paperwork. We are doing the 'Food Optimising' and are on red days today. I've had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon, lots of fruit, and we're having homemade burgers and salad tonight with jackets. Is it quite easy to stick to? I'd like to lose about 1.5st and I think this seems pretty straightforward.

Well done to everyone who is doing so well x

Just thought I'd join in with you all. I joined SW again (lost 4 stone in 4 months 18 months ago and put it all back on again plus some when my Dad died). Anyway, I rejoined on 1 April and when I weighed in this week I'd loist 7.5lb, yaaaaay! Not sure how I'll do this week, have been good so far but have lots on over Easter weekend but will try and make sensible choices!

Kate, sorry to hear about your dad .... glad you have been able to start shifting some weight again now .... keep up the good work!

Sunny - I'm still doing my roller coaster impression, losing one week, gaining the next, for now apparent reason. I do expect to have gained this week, however, having eaten Easter choccy, ddrunk wine and eaten off-plan stuff (looking after my mum who is just out of hospital having had a hernia op)!!!!!

I know what you mean about the rollercoaster! I desperatly want to loose 8 lb before I go on my holiday, we are going 9th May. I obviously dont want it enough though as Ive eaten far too much choc this weekend, argh, why cant I have some self control!!!!!

WI is tomorrow, had a good day yest and will today and tomorrow, lets hope it keeps those chocolate pounds away!!!

? joined up on Monday so trying to be good. Have done it before but found that i was living on jacket spuds and beans and I plateaued after 3 weeks so I'm trying to be varied this time. I think being able to mix will help but I am missing the extra A&B (bread is an issue with me as I do long days - 6am - 1am at the sec and bread is so easy to grab!)

Anyway I have been out of control with my eating recently which is not good as I was recently diagnosed as diabetic. It is like I have been on self distruct! I already feel more in control after a couple of days which is good. I have been refferred for CBT but teh wait is long.

I'm trying to cook in bulk so I have stuff ready for lunch in the freezer so did chick pea curry yesterday and I will do quorn chilli & spag bol in the next couple of days (I don'tusually buy quorn anymore now I am no longer veggie but mum got me some a while back)

Other suggestions for bulk meals for the freezer would be good. I am mainly a green or easy kind of girl as I find red too expensive.

Shiny - sorry to hear your diagnosis, but good for you getting back in control. We have a couple of girls with diabetes II in our class and they sya SW has really helped them. Their GPs seem to agree, too, so I'm sure the plan can help you, too.

I put on a pound which was better than I expected. I am not sure how I will fare over the coming week. Mr GMT cooked supper on Tuesday with all sorts of wrong stuff, and then yesterday I was in a long lunch meeting where the choice was to eat the offered sandwishes, or faint about mid-afternoon! I chose the former .... Still, I did do loads of walking yestarday, too, so should have burned off at least some of the excess!

???woohoo, lost 3lb this week so really pleased! Can't believe it really as I ate quite a lot of choc at the weekend, so got to be extra good this week so it doesnt catch up with me.

So, thats is 13lb in total in 6 weeks and 3lb off my 8lb mini target, 5lb to go in 3 weeks, hope I can do it!!!

Welcome to all the new joiners?sw is a fab 'diet'!!!!
