SW.... today I am eating....

1st weigh in last night and 4.5lbs lost. Happy bunny ?

Today I have had/having:

Breakfast: 2 weetabix (HE B) with skimmed milk (HE A)

Lunch: Currently have some cous cous 'cooking' on my desk but concerned it wont fill me up so may head to supermarket in a min and get some chicken too

Dinner: Spicy chicken pasta (its a jar of sauce as we seem to have lots of them in the cupboard that we havent used. 5 syns - this annoys me as I could make one even better for free!)

Snacks: Lots of fruit and a muller light

Has anyone tried making the syn free pancakes yet? Yummers!

    Hi Claire, I try to do the slimming world (on and off) but have been doing it without group recently. How do you make the syn free pancakes?

    Hi Claire

    today is my 2nd WI - fingers crossed as I still dont believe in it! lol

    breakfast - banana and hi fi lite bar

    lunch - JP, Phili pots, baked Beans, mullerlight, apple

    Dinner - SW Spagehetti bolognaise (not tried this yet fingers crossed)

    HT did you weigh in as well?

    Breakfast: oat so simple orginal (HE B) with semi-skimmed milk (HE A) blueberries and 1tbsp golden syrup (2syns)

    Lunch: Mahooosive jacket potato a little butter (2syns) with sainsbury's veggie ravioli (2syns)

    Dinner: Chicken and.........I have no idea! I have the chicken out I just need to do something healthy with it!! Preferably without carbs after carb oveload lunch - please give me suggestions!!

    Snacks: apple, banana and muller light possibly options hot chocolate later this afternoon to warm me up (2syns)

    Yes, Claire put me to shame. I lost half a pound. Although I didn't do the SW plan at all I did track everything on MFP and I never ate more than 1200 cals and I did loads of exercise! So I was a bit peeved (even if I did eat lots of toast ?)

    I just don't get the whole SW thing. How can eating so much food make you lose weight. ? I've got a friend round for chinese takeaway tonight so today is a write off. I'll start the proper SW plan tomorrow...

    I know what you mean about SW and how you can lose on it this is my MFP diary for today


    all in check for SW as had 2 syns for golden syrup and 2 syns for ravioli but I only have 57 calories left for dinner!!!

    ETA: Well done HT for 1/2 loss though....it's better than a gain!! Measure yourself as well and that will be an incentive!!

    not necessaily!! Look int the back of the syn bit in the book, itl tell you that actually, some bits of chinese takeway are ok to have if u count it in your syns!

    Sorry Flow, I'm not as good a slimmer as you are. Chinese is one thing I am not prepared to compromise on. I only like 2 things on the menu (the least chinesey things on there) ?

    Well done Claire - that's excellent! All your hard work has really paid off.

    I've been off plan since Saturday. We never really stick to it over the weekend, then we went to my parents' for dinner last night and didn't know what we were going to have. Instead of doing the sensible thing and eating superfree food all day, or making it an extra easy day, I just took the easy option and gave up! I'm in our branch office today, where it's freezing and I'm on my own all day, so I never follow it on those days either - oops!

    I've tried some kind of SW friendly pancakes, but don't think they're syn free. They're made with Ready Brek and muller light! There's a brilliant website called Slimming Eats, which was started by a British woman who moved to Canada where they don't have SW, so she does it by herself. Loads of EE recipes on there. She used to update it regularly, but hasn't for ages, but there's still loads of things on there.
