Both doing ok ta! Baby is huge now and very very well ? eats sleeps and giggles mostly. Number one is still in the psych unit but they are looking at discharging her again - not to us tho but somewhere as a sort of half way house. She seems a bit more interested in stuff at the mo - has started reading again and is making bits of jewellery for the kids which is nice. She is due to go on a residential with the school next week and also her school prom - fingers crossed they both go ok!

I haven't been on much cos H has been off with a broken arm - he still is technically but he is in work part time on light duties at the moment til he has an operation so i am getting a bit of peace from him ?

house is still on the market - hoping that if it sells over the next few weeks we will be able to move to devon this year.... if it doesn't sell over the summer holidays we are taking it off the market.

how are you? I have been lurking on here rather a lot - just not having much time to join in properly and post ?

Oh that is good news, you were going through the ringer a bit last time I heard from you. I am pleased that Elizabeth is making progress - it must have been so tough for you all. And poor Mr Tiggaa (or poor you, having a poorly bloke around can be very stressful!)

We're OK, just trundling on. I have too much work to do (as always) as the school stuff has really taken off and is taking far more than the 2 days per week I am paid for. I'm hoping to get someone into the magazine to help out at take the pressure off TBH.

Charlie starts school in Sept - can you believe it?! He loved it, so I don't really have any worries there. Jonny is settling well into secondary school, although he is very VERY stroppy, which is fun!

Not much else to say. Work, sleep, knitting - that is my life. You MUST join the Hitched Ravelry group, it's really good fun, there's about 20 of us now, I reckon.

Blimey, you are churning them out! I remembered your paper chains and occasionally think I'll have a go, but haven't started yet ?

I am currently knitting a tank top for Charlie (that's finished and is blocking but I am not happy with the neckline so may redo. however, the pattern neckline was too small to go over his head!), a long winter cardi for me and a purple stripey jacket for Charlie. I have a lovely queue of a lace scarf, a winter scarf and hat and a lovely 1950sshrug made out of chunky wool that should knit up quickly.

I have given up the idea of gift knitting as most people don't appreciate it. I am knitting most things for me. I am, however, having a lot of fun finding the most hideous, gay-est men's knitwear and threatening to make it for Jonny and H ?

I am currently looking on ravelry for patterns knitted on needles sized 7 and 9 - I want to buy some of this

which is on offer at kemps [69p a ball] but i can't find any patterns to match it! gah.

Ooh, that's purdy. What weight is it? You should be able to find a pattern by weight.

And how do you know about Kemps? ?
