Swearing on TV?

Little Madam, 1 August, 2011 at 16:57 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 7

I didn't think it was allowed before 9pm?

I am currently unpacking and have Rosemany and Thyme on in the background and the two women just used "p*ssed off" twice in the closing scene!

Shocking!

You know you're getting old... Smiley smile

I'm still surprised that morning/afternoon people say "ar$e" on Radio One.

This really annoys me that digital channels do not seem to have to worry about what they show during the day. They easily show programmes that would be rated a 12 at 10 in the morning. I have to be really careful with two teenagers and a three year old and am always having to monitor what is on the telly during the day.

I've noticed one of the channels has started showing SATC during the day but they cut anything rude out of it, so you're just left with Carrie tapping away at her laptop and the women moaning - not in a good way either! I don't see the point in showing something like this during the day, none of the stories makes any sense.
