I'd like submerged flowers over candles. You also need to check if you can have nakes flames at your venue.

    Def submerged flowers and candles.

I like both. What is your colour scheme?

I definitely agree about asking your venue about candles.

I do like that idea but if your venue doesn't allow naked flames then you could have a bowl with a long stemmed flower in them wrapped around the inner edge of the bowl!

Be careful with floating candles. I went to a wedding once where they had goldfish bowls with submerged gerberas and floating candles. Where the candles went too close to the edge of the glass, the glass cracked and there could have been a lot of mess had someone not blown out all the candles!

I went to a wedding where they had a similar issue too. They had little fish in the bowls and when they cracked from the candles, the fish had to be saved and the bowls had to be cooled very quickly.

Also, if you are getting married in July, it will be pretty light until quite late into the evening so the candles may not be very effective if its really light in the room (we were going to do the same thing, till i realised it will be light till at least 9pm!) - love the sound of the rest of it though!

I agree with the above. the glass gets very hot if you have candles. Also check that the venue allows candles . Only use glass ware that is suitable for naked flames as you could have a disaster on your hands.
