Table centrepieces *Flash* - opinions welcome!! :)

Mon2014, 8 February, 2014 at 17:13 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hello Ladies!

First of all, a big 'thank you' to one lovely hitcher who got me inspired to make those roses out of coffee filters Smiley laugh!!!

What do you think? Do they look ok? I have added a little bit of gold glitter on the white roses (not sure if you can see) and dipped the dark one in a coffee. I will probably add some ivy garland to the birdcage to cover the wires used to attach the flowers.

Please feel free to suggest what may work better etc.

Thanks x

    Hi

The roses are beautiful but I think that they're 'swamping' the bird cage. Can you make smaller ones to go around the base? I'm loving the design, the ribbon and the coloured flower in the middle. Is the rose in the middle the colour that you're having for your wedding? Have you thought of having the rose in the middle from the same colour palette as your BM dresses etc or a candle to add some movement to the centerpiece? You can use a battery one so it doesn't all catch fire!

Love the little birdcages! Agree with pps that perhaps make the paper roses smaller? Great idea though!!

Thank you all for your opinions Smiley laugh!

I may try to make flowers a little bit smaller, but overall I am very pleased with the the outcome after trying to make them for the first time Smiley smile
