Table Decs - Candle Holders

Jennie228, 28 February, 2013 at 19:44 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hi all,

I'm looking for somewhere that sells pretty little tealight candle holders, cheap! I have a tall flower arrangement, but want the room dimly lit so want to fill the tables with little vintagey candles. Any suggestions welcome!

Hi, I was wanting to do the same thing so am collecting various jars and then I am going to decorate them with lace. They look really pretty when lit up :-)

Do you have a store21 near you? It's a really cheap shop I normally don't like but saw in there today (after walking past a window display) these gorgeous wooden tea light/candle holders. They were rustic wood style with a heart cut out of each side, square shaped. We're really pretty. Small ones were £1.99 each and large £2.99 each. Looked expensive so a compete bargain. A couple per table I thought would look plenty as small ones weren't exactly small!

    Good luck with searching

    xx

Do you have a B&M Bargains store you could visit? They have lots of vintage style candle holders in different styles, around £1.50

I was going to suggest Store Twenty One too (They are also QS if you have one of those near you)

You do need to hurry though, I know the business is in a lot of trouble and it's highly likely they'll be going into administration soon

I bought loads of mini jam jars from jamjarshop.com (Think it cost about £30 for 50) and have bought loads of different types of lace from ebay and glued it on with glue dots. As already said, they look so pretty when the candle is flickering through the lace. I swear I actually saw on the selling part of this website that soembody was selling something similar that she had made so have a look there too :-)

    Here's the link :-)
