Table Dressing

meggles24, 3 July, 2009 at 14:15 Posted on Planning 0 3

I know this is a long shot...

But has anybody got any pics of how they are having/have done their table dressing?

My tables are round- if that helps at all!!

Then again- any descriptions of table dressing and favours would be a massive help too! I saw in a shop a round table with pieces of different coloured ribbon laid diagonally across it in different directions- can't decide if i like it tho

Hmmm

    Hi,

Our tables weren't dressed as such so not sure if I'll help.

We had ivory chair covers and gold sashes, really tall centre pieces with lights in the vases so they lit up with round mirrors and scatter crystals and then the favours where wine charms with champagne coloured organza bags with the favour tag attached.

I think having the tables plain is lovely because once people have their meals and drinks on them they can look pretty cluttered.

    Heres a pic

We had ours quite plain as well. White linen and chair covers with a black organza sash, bright flower centrepieces in fishbowls with coloured water (different colour on each table), and a little black and silver table confetti. We didn't have favours as such, just ut a box of chocolates on each table during coffee.
