Table Names

Mrs Mack, 6 September, 2010 at 16:12 Posted on Planning 0 13

The thing these days seems to be naming your tables instead of numbering, i have cam up with 2 ideas:

1. Family names from both sides e.g Lafferty, Sutherland, Griffin etc etc

2. Romantic Couples from history

I think i prefer the family names, what are you all having? Any suggestions/tips most welcome!!!!

We had tables named after films. We recreated the film covers for each table, took a lot of work but they looked great in the end

We were thinking about having colours, we could then co-ordinate the decorations to make it REALLY obvious. We have red, blue and green in our colour scheme, so it should work nicely with acream top table.

Our theme is a vintage tea party and so our tables are named after different types of tea. OH family will be sitting on Earl Grey, my family will be on Lady Grey and then our friends will be on other flavours.

We are naming ours after places we hope to visit on our honeymoon with pictures of those places as postcards. We are having a honeymoon gift list so thought this would tie in nicely with our guests being able to see where they are sending us!

    Sri Lanka

    Pinnawela

    Dambula

    Polonnaruwa

    Sigyria

    Thalawakale

    Anuradhapura

    Meeru

    Mali...

Will have to double check spellings nearer the time!!!
