table names??!!

I was just going to do numbers too as I can't think of a theme we could use for names! We don't really have any hobbies in common (apart from our love of food but that would mean tables being called 'pie and mash' or 'bacon and eggs'!) and to be honest, the venue doesn't mean much to us apart from it being lovely and the right price so would be pointless naming them after things round there...

I know some people do it by things that mean a lot to the couple but I'd like to keep things like that special and between the 2 of us without the inevitable "what does that mean then" if you choose names.

Unless I have a eureka moment then I'm going to be a numbers girl!

I've been milling this one over as well, we were thinking of doing the word for love in different languages, but don't know if it's a bit too cheesy, so might just stick with numbers, we've got plenty of time to decide though ?

I am going to stick to numbers, basically cos i cant be bothered with anything wedding related at the mo ☹️

I think our wedding is going to be the most childish of all. We're probably going to name our tables after the Elements of Harmony out of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

I did want to name them after different types of dinosaur or octopus but my hubby quickly put a stop on that one ?

I'm/we're going for the names of all the pets we've ever had between us as children or together. including things like my pet goldfish!! just thought it would be something different and amusing as it's so silly!

I think it is common to just have numbers if you have nothing specific in mind.

We have named ours after Leeds United ledgends becuase OH is a huge fan

OH wants to go for numbers, but I want the tables named after musicals. I have told him that it's musicals or I will compromise on places in New York, but we are not having numbers.

My friend is mad on The Wizard of Oz, and named it after different aspects of that, the Top Table was Dorothy, I was on the Toto table.

Wer having herbs & spices cos OH is a chef so Saffron, Cinnamon, Clove etc etc. Something like that might be nice if ur food lovers?
