Table numbers

morristobe, 26 February, 2013 at 10:52 Posted on Planning 0 8

Hi ladies

I need some inspiration we have 5 tables and the top table, do we need table numbers?

we have a birdcage theme, mini birdcage favour boxes, a birdcage wedding cake etc. on our tables we have the flower centre pieces which are high skinny vases with flowers on top. A few clear crystals on the table and the guests name cards.

If we were to use table numbers I want them to encorporate the theme, I thought possibly a mini birdcage tea light holder and somehow add a number to it?

What does everyone think? Have you done anything similar? How could I attach the table number to the birdcage?

sorry for the bad spelling and grammar im on my phone.

Thanks x

You don't HAVE to have them, but logistically for your guests and caterers it will be a whole lot easier. Your venue will probably ask for a seating plan anyway (so they know where veggies are etc).

You could have names instead? I like the ideas you're already considering and I'm sure one of the creative types will be along to help with that side of things!!

It is easier for guests to find their table if the tables are numbered or have names. Is there anything on top of the birdcages that you could attach cards to?

    I think that sounds lovely!

How about using something like this?

You could tie them onto your birdcages and use a blackboard pen to write the table numbers, you could always change the string for ribbon to work with your colour scheme if you preferred.

Its very similar to the first one but white. I'm not sure if it's my computer, but only half of your message appeared in your last post and I think you may have added a link which hasn't appeared.

Your theme is very similar to mine!! We chose flowers for table names and they will be held up by the below - we also got our names and the date on there too!

Yep, it was my computer not letting me see your message!

Perhaps you could tie them to the top of your birdcage tea light holders?

Another idea..... You could use a card cut out of a bird which you could write/stencil numbers onto and then fix to your holders using mini wooden pegs.

Hi ladies, sorry about my postings yesterday, silly phone doesn't like Hitched.

They are similar to the above birdcages, however they are white. I do have a birdcage table plan like below which I will be using mini wooden pegs to attach the 'tables' to so I love this idea.
