Table Plan Recommendations??

laura1982, 9 August, 2012 at 09:57 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hi all,

Due to annoying people pulling out of our wedding at the last minute, we've had to hold off getting our table plan made, and now only have 5 weeks until our wedding (15th Sept) Does anyone have any recommendations of any suppliers that make table plans that dont charge extortionate amounts of money please?? I'm looking for something handmade if possible, in a vintagey style?

If anyone knows of any or if there are any HIBS on here that could maybe do this in this time frame, please let me know!!

Thanks!!

Have you thought about doing it yourself, it is quite easy I have done mine and they match my invites.

Also means you can leave the little changes right till the last minute, I have has all my replies but have not stuck everthing down so if i have any last minute changes I can do this will seal it all the Monday before the wedding.

I am getting a venetian style mirror and writing the names on in marker myself.

Found a lovely mirror for £32 to tie in with our theme and then its a practical keepsake after the ceremony.I begrudge paying good money on things to be thrown away. I wouldn't keep a giant piece of paper but the mirror already has a potential home in our darkish dining area to reflect light.

Also means I can write the names last minute too. I am sure you can get a brushed vintage looking mirror.

I'm using a large mulit-aperature photo frame. Will print out the table lists and pop them in the frame - could easily be altered then. Plus I get to keep it and put loads of wedding pics in afterwards! There are lots of nice vintage ones out there but mine is ultra modern (IKEA) to suit my venue and wedding.

I bought a £12 mirror and printed onto see-through acetate that cost about £5, Bargainous.

ETA: if you don't fancy making your own, check out the Hitched suppliers tab.

Thanks for all your replies ladies. I did consider making one, but I am the least craftiest person on the planet and would probably end up making a right old mess!! But I may give it a go if its as easy you guys say it is (or rope the OH in, he is weirdly good at things like that!!)

Thanks again for all your help!!
