We are thinking of this - http://www.theweddingofmydreams.co.uk/-diy-bride-/table-plans-a-table-numbers-diy-your-own-wedding-table-plans-and-wedding-table-numbers-chalkboards-birdcages-and-more/208-vintage-blue-magnetic-table-plan.html. Would have used our stationary supplier but we fell out with her!

Sadiebutterfly - there are lots of reasonably prices birdcages on these sites (I´m planning to use one for a "post box"):

    http://www.lavendersoflondon.com/364/Decoration/Bird_Cages.html

    http://www.weddingmall.co.uk/bird-cages/c593.html

I want to use this for my table plan but am debating whether it´s too big (89cm high which seems huge!)

haha coincidentally someone has just flashed it in the post below you asking this! Smiley winking

I tried a full on round birdcage but it didn't work, so I've gone for the flat one pictured. It's going to be propped up on a table and the florist will do her magic with it!

It's just as lovely in real life.

It features in a lot of wedding magazines done up in loads of different ways - so if you have some time before you need to buy, keep your eyes open for some ideas Smiley smile

This is my plan. Its made from a standard cork pin board.

I wrapped it black fabric and then used white drawing pins to secure it in place and add nice ribbon to frame it. Were then going trim other things with the same ribbon.

I've got postcards with our design printed (with no text) form vistaprint which Im handwriting names on - with loads of spare for mistakes.

I tried to get large headed drawing pins but they dont seem to exist so what I've gone for is large headed flower pins (they're a bit long and come through the back but can be trimmed once they're through)

Its cost me about a tenner and Im really pleased

I bought a lovely gold framed mirror and will be writing on it in a chalk pen. Looks efffective, super cheap, and easy to make last minute changes.

    Something like this:

That's basically what we are doing - we bought an authentic 1940s suitcase off ebay, we are going to make luggage tags and put some string across the suitcase! I think it is such an awesome idea and goes totally with our 1940s theme

I've bought a photo frame which has individual famed inside it which are all 6x4 so I'm going to print table on pearlescent paper and then put the same little butterflies which are on all our stationery on the corners to match! Our venue has a stand we can use!

GothBella and lovebirds - the bird cage one is from this site:

    /products/vintage-birdcage-wedding-table-plan

I haven't bought it yet - I live abroad so the postage is mega expensive. Plus I'm not sure if it'll look right at my venue - we're getting married outside so I would have to hang it on a wall and I'm not sure how well it will show up. Gutted as I love it so much!

    Me three.

I was quite lucky and got a mirror as a freebie from work as we've just relocated and were going to throw it out. Just got to buy the pens now. Which did you ladies get?
