Table runner Q

To be honest from my experience table runners from the shops are usually standard lengths, and I think you may struggle to find a runner for a 2.75m table. I would look into buying the material and either making them yourself or getting someone else to run them up. This way you can have one really long one as opposed to having to buy a couple and having to match them up. I would go and measure up the tables so you get exactly what you want. Also, I would allow for about 12 inches each end to hang over the edge but that's because I like the colour to go down the length more. It depends on what affect you want. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

That's great thank ruth, I've found a company online that will make them to measure, no idea how much they are yet though as I need to let them know the size to get a quote. If there expensive I'll probably try the local material shop.

Any idea how wide I should get them? their standard width is 32cm but I wasn't sure that might look to thin in the middle of a table that's 158cm wide??

I'm sure someone on here recommended them in the firstplace but it was a while ago now. They'll send you out loads of samples, do chair covers etc as well
