Just another thing on my to-do list.
What do you think up to now?

Like the concept (and am assuming they won't be set against dark wood) but they are a little rough around the edges for my taste. Were you planning on hemming the hessian?

They look fab! I am going to start mine too. How did you attach the lace to the Hessian? I like the rough edges. It will work for our theme anyway as we are going for a rustic look.

I am hemming them today - the most tedious job ever!

I am unsure whether to leave the lace full width or double it over so it is narrower

I am sewing the lace on I think

In my cabbage, it's a nice width now, with the overall look in thirds.

They look great! Agree that hemming was the most tedious job ever - my house ended up smelling of hessian for days as I ironed them all before rolling them up to keep them perfect for the day.

I think the width of lace you have now is really nice. I ended up abandoning putting lace on mine as the only lace I really nice was very pricey!

    Happy hemming!

They look great, I am doing similar ones with lace edges, means I can avoid having to hem them all! 10 down, 7 to go!

My house now stinks of hessian and I keep finding hessian strands everywhere!

These look lovely, I'm thinking of doing the same thing for my tables. Can I ask where you bought your fabrics from and were they pricey? Thanks x
