Taking a 3 mth old baby to a static caravan

brooke1, 31 August, 2009 at 11:55 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 1

Hi in 3 weeks I am taking my baby n holiday to a static caravan. Is there space in the bedroom for them also or do they have to sleep in the main living area? He still sleeps in my room at home so I am uneasy about him sleeping in a big cot in another rm.

Thanks

Static caravans vary alot in size and internal layout so its difficult to say but a carrycot/ moses basket would probably fit by the side of the bed - after all there has to be space for you to get in and out of the bed.

We have taken both boys to our static since they were born. had them in our room in a samsonite pop up cot. there isent a lot of room in our bedroom in the caravan so we had to open the wardrobe doors (fold up on thermselfs) and popped the cot in it, this also ment we could have the lamps on if we want to read and they wernt disturbed. oh and you may want to pack more layers as ours sometimes got cold at night.
