Tan queens - QQ

ForTheLoveOfMrsBrown, 17 August, 2011 at 12:05 Posted on Planning 0 6

Was Baked in a Fake fashion last night. Thankfully, most of the colour was "guide colour" and washed off in the shower Smiley smile However, the tan I now have is a little dark - what I have after a week on holiday, rather than rosy English girl. I think I would prefer a more natural, selectively sunkissed look (nose, cheeks, shoulders).

1. How do I hasten the removal of this current colour? Scrubby scrubby scrubby?

2. Can I achieve a natural look with a spray tan or should I go for a home/moisturiser with a hint of tanning agent approach?

Oi missus. Scrubby scrubby and step away from the tan. You are absolutely FINE as you are (were?) and your dress needs NO ORANGE!

    Tsk!

Ah, thanks. I might just go for the mild at-home moisturiser method.

How are you? Haven't chatted for ages...

Trying to prolong my honeymoon tan without using 'proper' fake tan, Ive been using xen transform luxe - a gradual tanner - once or twice a week. No smell & really moisturising, it looks just like a white coloured normal moisturiser. I apply it with latex gloves & it doesnt stain sheets etc. OH doesnt even know when Ive got it on. You get one for your face as well. Im definately converted to xen tan now! I got mine in a local chemist for £14.99.

Scrubby scrubby on a spray tan can lead to patchy patchy so be careful!!

If all you want is the glowing radiant bride look then a good moisturiser with natural tan builder in it would be best...usually takes about a week to ten days to build up. But do be careful again about elbows, knees & wrists as even a gradual tan cream can cause darker patches in these areas!

I'm good thanks. Work is excrutiatingly busy and the CEO is a right pain, but I'm looking forward to a break in Cornwall very soon.

Can't wait to see your wedding pics. Am hanging on for them....!

    Hello,

I would highly recommend St Tropez Mousse. I have tried loads of others and always disappointed and end up going back.

    Thanks

    Anna
