Tasks for an awkward MIL

My MIL is not the easiest person and currently has a grump on with me. I guess it's because I happened to stumble upon my dress whilst shopping with the step MIL.

I want to give her a wedding related task to do but struggling to think of what. Any suggestions ladies? She doesn't have a computer or Internet access FYI.

Maybe you could ask her to go accessory shopping with you? You could have a nice day out with some lunch.

I'm a little confused, do you mean awkward or arquard?

How about helping with the table plan, or OOS/D, something that she can do, but you can change if you need to. Or something DIY if shes crafty. Maybe the cake?

Can't you get her to help OH with suits so you don't have to deal with her? (You may guess I'm not inviting mine to help with anything, lol)

Could she research readings/bidding prayers/poems for the ceremony for you? Help collate ideas for flowers etc.

How about getting her to help with favours or readings as somebody else suggested. There are so many small jobs to consider to stop her being so arquard.

Ahh I was meant to write arquard in the title but forgot!

Love the researching an Alaskan honeymoon suggestion! Will have a look again on the train tomorrow and consider.
