Love them or hate them? I love them. I'm getting a new one started this week. Started out because I wanted to cover my scars but has now managed grow into one that covers half my torso. Flash me your tattoos, or tattoos that you want.

Mini I am not on here all night you know! Looks like Pugsley isn't in a hurry to clear up the confusion she caused over me either.

Look everyone, in regards to my comment about tattoos being common, the question was

**love them or hate them? (How do I quote?)

I hate them. I'm not going to be a hypocrite and change my opinion just to appease those who think otherwise. To apologise for it would make me one. However, like I said on the awards thread, perhaps J could have phrased it differently to cause less offense. I certainly didn't mean to comment and run. I just had other threads I was more interested in contributing to.

In regards to why on women I can't answer that really, I guess it's just a gut feeling thing. I'm not keen on them in skinny or slight men either. I briefly considered a small tattoo when I was younger, at the bottom of my back. But as I have a birth mark there I sort if felt like it'd be covering up part if my history? Anyway, those if you who do have them are very brave!

Roundabout apology accepted! No one wants you to change your views at all- were a tolerant bunch on it to differing views but as a woman with tattoos I resented being told I look common.

I am sorry I said your dress was common- I was being mean. It's not to my personal taste but then many wedding dresses arnt- I'm tough to please!

I have one. My ex-b*****d would never let me have one while we were married so it was practically the first thing I did once I wised up and threw him out the door. Can't flash as I don't have a picture and can't take one as it's on my shoulder ?.

However, my daughter has several tattoos and while I like some of them, there are others that I absolutely hate and wish she hadn't had. So I think it comes down to the person, the tattoo and how well it's done

    Apology accepted.

Text as opposed to speech can come accross completely differently to how you mean it to come out, I get that. It's a case of chosing words wisely.

I've wanted one for ages but I'm so indecisive, I'd be worried I'd get bored of it. I want something like a horse shoe or even a disney character (Dont hate me!!!) I love MaAtthewsMummys Peter Rabbit, he's just lovely!!!!
