I have stars on my wrist, which go up to about half of my forearm - I love it. I want something onj my neck, but not sure what.

I have 2 chinese symbols on my back and my son's name on my lower back. I had them done when I was in my early 20's.

I'm sure you have thought about the downside ie having them forever blah blah so I won't go on ??

I'm pleased I can't see mine tbh. I forget they are there but then mine were done quite spontaneously. I wish I had thought about it more.

You could design your own...something that really means a lot to you maybe?

Ive had both done, a small tattoo on my lower back that noone sees and my tongue pierced, 2 lip piercings (one on the side and one on the corner - at different times) belly pierced and nipple pierced.

I no longer have any piercings, but have scars from the piercings so if you do choose that be careful where you get them. Id say a discreet tattoo if you want any, b ut think long and hard first

I've been thinking about a tattoo for years and specifically a star one for about a year. I don't know whether to get one done somewhere more discreet (did I use the right one?) at first just in case. The other option is white ink

I want either my tongue, nipple or *** pierced, I'm not sure how I decide!

I'm not artistic in the slightest and wouldn't know where to start with designing one.

I have my tounge, ears and belly button peirced and also a tatto on my lowere back a butterly with some swirls around it- if i'm totally honest i wish i had thought more about the tattoo and got something a lot better!! But love my tongue peircing!!

It's three months till my birthday, if I still want it doing then then I think that's a reasonable amount of time to have thought about something isn't it? Will be a yearish of proper consideration.

I have a fairy on my left hip/stomach, she is quite big. That reaaaaally hurt. I have a bow on my lower back, (same as Katie Price ?), which hurt a bit, and a butterfly on the inside of my wrist which didn't hurt at all.

I don't remember my piercings hurting. My nose was uncomfortable, but not painful really. Although it took aaaaaaages to heal. About 6 months! I have a teeny diamond in there & looks pretty. I think.

having nipple done didnt hurt when they were doing it, but afterwards felt like someone had punched me in the boob, not sure if you have long hair, but i cant remember the number of time i have got the brush/comb stuck in it while doing my hair?? it takes ages to heal and mine still bleeds if i catch it, and i have had it in about 5 years

Ok - I have the top of my cartilage pierced on one ear and my tragus pierced on the other. I adore my tragus piercing - didn't hurt at all, although I just have a ball closure ring in and have never changed it. The one on top of my ear hurt like buggery!

I also have my lobes pierced and my nose pierced.

I have five tattoos - ankle, hip, back, arm and shoulder. Will be getting more once I've stopped breastfeeding my daughter.

They do hurt but not terribly. I like the pain ?

I have 5 tats, and only belly button pierced i have had my nose done twice and both times it has gone funny and swollen and i have had to take it out.

tats didnt hurt i am toying with the idea of another tat, quiet like stars, but a girl at school has 3 behind her ear and it looks awful, on her, not saying it will on you ?, but it does on her,

I have v short hair so no chance of brush catching! The sounds painful though. When you're not catching it ? does it feel good or no different?

doesnt feel any different normally, but, this sounds daft, but when i am cold?? it feels tight

I have 8/9 tattoos but just my ears pierced.

I have one at the back of my ancle which is just a black pattern with a bit of turquoise in
one at the nape of my neck (just under the hairline)
One small one on the side of my wrist (needs re-doing as I had it in grey and it needs to be darker)
Two randoms that I regret
Three around my waist which I had linked up with a big one a few years ago (this is a work in progress as I will keep adding to it.

I have 3 tattoos one either side on the lower legs, and the other on the top of my arm, i have been 7 times to get tattos as both legs needed recolouring(me itching when they were healing) and the on on my arms too, i went back and had bits added to it.

I have had my tounge pierced (bloody hurts) both sides of my nose and my ears( about 3-4 times).

I do love my tattos though.

LP - hood of or actual cl1t piercing. I love the idea of the former but my H really really doesn't like piercings/needles.

I've got a tattoo. It took 4+ hours and it hurt a lot! But I recommend that you think about it very carefully. I'd be very wary of having a visible tattoo - eg, one on a neck or wrists that is very difficult to cover up, at least as a first tattoo. You'd be surprised how many people really don't like them.

You might get some ideas from bmezine.com and it has excellent advice, but be warned, a lot of the site's images are NOT work friendly.
