I'm so overexcited. Our invitations have arrived! Tea towels from weddingteatowels.co.uk and they look amazing!! We spent last night packaging them up (some of them, it took forever ?) and I'm off to the post office in a minute. It feels super real now! Not sure the wife to be was happy to be...

I'm so overexcited. Our invitations have arrived! Tea towels from weddingteatowels.co.uk and they look amazing!! We spent last night packaging them up (some of them, it took forever ?) and I'm off to the post office in a minute. It feels super real now! Not sure the wife to be was happy to be spending our anniversary night working on a production line in our bed ? she's a good sport bless her ? ? ? she came home to me all dolled up in a dress and make up, dinner on the table with candles etc... then when she told me they had arrived I refused to do anything other than pack them up to send them out! Oops girlfriend fail!!

Yes, I remember that too - I think it happened twice actually. Once in my earlier years on here and when Pugsley said.

    Hi, if you go to the 'prices' section of their website it has two parts. So the costs for us were;

Part one- £65 for the design (which we edited, had bits removed etc)

Part two- £147.50 for 50 tea towels.

    Hope that helps!

    OHMYGOD.

    That is HORRENDOUS.

I've just removed the photo because I don't know how to block details out... (iPhone/ipad/macbook air and still a total technotard!!). Honestly, that's really worried me! The world is full of some god awful individuals. Thank you for the heads up.

I'm sure when I posted a pic of something that had our names on it I found an app that blurred out the names really easily...damnit, I wonder what it was...?

    I had these!

They are amazing. I mounted one one a board and we had it outside on an easel on the wedding day. It's now on the wall in our lounge. My mum has one up in her utility room. Lovely keepsake.

Great idea MummyMoo, we are definitely going to frame one!!

I've now added the photo back on the Original Post, as I got an app that blurs stuff!! It's called 'Aviary' if anyone else needs one!

Fab! Sorry if I scared you. I'm sure it won't happen to you but always worth being on the safe side. I think one of the people it happened to knew the person who impersonated then so you'd have had to p*ss someone off for them to do that to you anyway. But to be honest, always good to spread the advice so that other brides/grooms are cautious of what they post online, especially as this is such a public forum.

Glad the pic is back up again anyway, I love your tea towels!

The Tea Towels are amazing, am having them for my invites as well. I first saw them on FleurDeForce channel on youtube and was like I need them. My mum's trying to put me off saying its silly to spend so much on invites (think its about £200 for 40) but they are amazing and better than invites which just get thrown in the bin.

They send a free sample of a tea towel in the design and colour you want as well incase anyone was thinking about getting them.

Hi my tea towels arrived last week they took about 3 to arrive so possibly enough time to get them out to everyone.

I love them and can't wait to get them out to everyone in a few weeks.

Just do it, send her a begging email!! You've already sent savethedates having you?? So I think it'll be fine to send invitations late. We sent ours in the first week of Feb but that's only because we didn't have savethedates.
