My names Stacey, i've been engaged for about a month now, got engaged at easter and OH proposed during a breakfast picnic and hid the ring in the middle of an easter egg!!! I was v.surprised, but v.happy.

I'm 26 and been with the OH for 5 years, we have just booked our venue, were getting married in a converted barn 'Smeetham Hall Barn', in Sudbury on 30th August 2012. I've become slightly obsessed with all things weddingly.

Your proposal sounds very romantic, i love Venice!! Rome will be lovely to get married, i'm v.jealous!!

Ohhh, I went to a friends wedding there last month and it was beautiful. It rained all day so we didn't get to see much of the grounds but the inside was gorgeous. And the food was amazing- both the wedding breakfast and the evening food. Lucky you and good choice x

I'm 22, have been with Mr J for 5 years now and we are getting married on the 18th at Wandsworth Register Office followed by afternoon tea in my hometown and then a big Indian feast in the evening.

I'm a student, currently working on my dissertation for my MA in Legal and Political Theory, at University College London. When I'm not reading books with complicated titles, I keep house for Mr J who works for the Met Police force processing CRB checks. (Although he is hoping to get onto an accountancy training scheme in the autumn.)

I like having flowers on the mantelpiece, watching videos of micro-pigs and babies on YouTube, and mine's a gin with slimline tonic.

Hello!! Im 26 and a mum of 1, a 2 year old boy, we have been engaged since way before we had the baby, and started planning the wedding last august. It has turned out to be quite a big wedding 110 during the day and another 150 at night!! Our parents all have 10 siblings each, so BIG families, needless to say Im sticking at 1 kid lol!!

We dont have a theme just simple and classy, the ballroom we have hired in the hotel is stunning so wanted to keep it simple, booked my florist last week eventually!! And everything else is pretty much booked just waiting for november to come round!!

Hey! I'm Amy, I'm 28 in a week or so. Have been with the OH for nearly 2 years but have known him since I was 16. We got engadged on Christmas day 2009 and he did the traditional thing of going to ask my Dad (who told him he was a little in love with my OH himself!!)

We get married on September 3rd this year at the Windmill Village Hotel in Coventry. I am SUPER excited and want to make this the most amazing day ever as we've had a lot of rubbish things happen to us this year (massive fall outs with OH's family and finding out my Dad has Hairy Cell Leukaemia) so I want to make the day special for so many reasons.

I work as a family support worker in a children's centre although I'm starting a new job next month at Birmingham Children's Hospital. We are crafty people my OH and me, and am doing am lot of the wedding things like flowers and invites etc ourselves. I also make baby booties out of felt which I'd like to start doing more once the wedding is over ?

Hey, my names haylee and I'm 29 (soon to be 30)!! I'm a mum to 12 month old Evan and work as a homeless persons officer!

I've been with my man now for nearly 5 years and we met at my friends works xmas party (lucky as I wasn't going to go!) He proposed after a 12 hour stint at work by writing marry me with rose petals on his bed :-)

So far I have booked our venue which is a hotel in Shrewsbury, registrar booked and menu's planned. My dress has been ordered and the bridesmaids dresses I got for a bargain price on ebay and are in the post as I type!! I'm making my own invitations and table decorations which I have already started, having a soon to be walking little man everywhere I figured best to try and do as much as I can as soon as I can! I'm lucky enough to have plenty of friends who make cakes, flower arrangements so helps ease the finances!!

I'm dreading things like table plans as my O/H parents are at loggerheads and photographs as I don't have a good side at all lol!!

I am Danielle, i am 27 i have been with my OH since i was 16 and we are getting married 25th February 2012 at Hazlewood Castle. Going for a black ivory theme with some sparkle, only small day do of 46 with another 170 coming in the evening!!

We have been engaged since 2005 but i wanted to get Uni and first house settled first so took a while for us to decide to actually get on and get married! Hitched has saved me from boring OH to death over everything!!

Since then we have had 2 boys aged 4 and 2and half and have bought our home.

I am working in residential childcare at the moment and before that i was a hair stylist.

I'm Michelle, 31 (eek!) mum to a 3 year old daughter who is my world (she was born 3 months early so is a survivor!) and we want her to be a big part of our wedding day.

I have been with my fiance for 10 years now and he proposed while we were in Cyprus in October last year. We are hoping to get married on 16 June 2012 in Richmond and should be confirming venue and registrar in the next few weeks.

Haven't planned much for the wedding yet and still saving madly as we are paying for everything ourselves.

Hey, me and my OH are 25yrs old, and getting married on the 3rd December 2011. we both have 1 child, kieran whos 3, 4 in july. we rae both self-employed working in his parents buisness, which is an mail order plant nursery.

our plans are well under way with photographer, venues, cake and aother bits booked. I have my dress, my silk tulle veil and shoes, and we also have bm's dresses and pb outfit. we are honeymooning in mauritius which we are both very excited! we have been togther for 8years engaged for 3 and half. im a runner and love excercise while my oh loves his football (what man dont?? ).

It makes me silently sob that 'innit' has made its way into the scrabble dictionary and I'm rapidly losing friends on Facebook for correcting their misuse of your/you're, there/their/they're etc. But I'm actually very nice.

It does, you're right. I feel your pain - mustard does the same to me. Itchy throat and swollen lips. I'm an attractive beast after accidentally eating mustard it's got to be said.

Hi I'm Jo. I'm met my OH almost 3 years ago. He proposed in Brussels on 10th April. I was SO surprised! :o) He had been designing the ring since November and had it hidden under the floor boards since January! Bless him.

We have chosen the venue Tylney Hall near Basingstoke. It was my dream wedding venue but I was very good and looked at others and almost chose a different one! But OH agreed it had to be Tylney! We're still undecided on the church we have 2 booked (theyre both in the same parish so no biggy atm) One is very traditional and about 2 miles from my Mum & Dads. The other is more modern & according to OH 'a shed!' Is at the end of M&D's road I would love to walk to the church but I think OH may win on this one as the other is more picturesque! wedding date is 4th Aug 2012.

were looking at TOG's next week. Think thats about it - ooh except we had our 1st session with a personal trainer tonight - trying to get in shape for all the photos!!

I'm 26 & I'm from northern Ireland. I will be 27 the week after we return from honeymoon. I've got a 2.1 in English & politics and now work in sales & have a great laugh with my work colleagues every day. I have a wee dog who I absolutely adore & am very close to my parents. OH proposed on christmas eve after a year & we'll be together 3 & half yrs when we get married. I met him through mutual friends & the first time I met him he was what I thought rude (I now know him & his sense of humour!) and I didn't speak to him for 6 months...then one drunkin nite we kissed & it went from there! I discovered the wonderful world of hitched quite late into our planning. I've under 4 weeks to go now!x

Im kerry, im 22 as is other half, we share our birthday 18th april *i must put in im 3hours older*, been with my OH for 8years on 7th august, so thats why we chose 6th august as its the date before we 'officially' got together. Im a level 3 nursery nurse and i adore my job, currently aiming to be level 5 *fingers crossed*, i have an amazing family who have been brilliant. Our wedding plans are well under way we get married in just under 9weeks. I have rheumatoid arthritis and im not ashamed to admit it Im quite a happy person

I am 28 and have been with my OH for just over 2.5 years. We met in the Septmeber and I proposed to him on New Years Eve 3 months later. We have been living together in our lovely first house for 2 years next month!

We are getting married on 10th Sept 2011 at Hilltop County House near Prestbury, Cheshire. No kids yet but we are looking to try sometime next year after the big Honeymoon trip!

I work for a contract hospitality company in Admin and he is a landscape gardener. We both love music and going to Gigs. Kings of Leon in 2 weeks and then Glasto 2 days later!!! Super exciting!
