Telling people about dress!

My Mum and MOH know what it looks like as they were with me when I bought it. My Dad claims to know what it looks like as he tries to wind me up saying he found it when it was at my parents house for a week before it went to the dress alteration ladies place.

But I'm not telling anyone, just saying it looks lovely and I love it. I don't want to ruin the surprise.

I find it really hard to keep things secret and have had to delete the photo of my dress from my phone to restrain me! Luckily I'm a high school teacher n I've shown some of the students at school it to delighted squeals n made me a bit chuffed to tell ppl ha ha x

My mum and nan were the only ones that saw it beforehand. I described it vaguely to some work colleagues and showed pics from the website to my MOH.

My SIL and MOH saw me getting dressed in the morning, but that was it.

How exciting!! Congrats on finding you dress. I think it's up to you who you show. I really wanted h2b to see at first then I changed my kind lol.

My mum, nan, MOH h2bs mum and two bridesmaids have all seen me in the dress. I've shown a couple of people a pic of me in the dress but that's it. When I go for my fittings I'm only going to take my mum as want everyone else to wait until the day. I've lost 4 stone since I bought the dress so will look a lot different from the last time everyone saw me in it.

Only my mum has seen my dress on. A friend, who unfortunately is terminally ill, has seen my dress too as she's like a second mum to me and she won't be around to see my big day!

I'm quite a "protective" bride! Lol. I don't want anyone to "steal" my dress so I am keeping it a secret lol! Xx

Whooooo congratulations! My mum, moh and BM came dress shopping with me so have seen it. I've shown a pic to some work colleagues who won't be at the wedding, but apart from them, no one else has seen it, seen a pic or knows what it's like!

My mum was there when I bought it and I showed my BMs and dad pics. I also showed a couple of the girls at work who weren't coming to the wedding. I was so ridiculously excited I wanted to show everyone. And of course I flashed it here so god knows how many people saw it in the end!

I’m terrible for this – I swore that only my Mum and Dad would see me in my dress or even knew what it looks like before my big day – however my grandparents have now seen it, my MOH and 1 of my BM’s and my brother and 3 of my friends – I’m too excitable about it!

My dress wasn't a secret from anyone. It's just a dress...

When I got it, I tried it on to show my H. He actually bought me my first dress, but I decided on something else.

Only my mum and bridesmaids have seen me in my dress. But i cant stop myself showing people a pic! Surprised i haven't been stopping strangers in the street to show them too! My h2b and my dad havent seen it at all. And the pic i have shown people is just off the website....its not me in it with hair/veil etc and most of them wont really remember it in any detail i shouldnt think. But either way, as long as im happy with how i look and its a surprise on the day for my h2b then thats all that matters to me!

I've shown my mum, my sister and my kids. Other than that, people just know I'm wearing a purple dress.

The only people that knew about my dress were my mum and 'maids and a couple people from work who won't be coming to the wedding.

I ordered mine yesterday! So excited and it is taking all my effort not to show everyone i know! My mum and BM have seen it and i will be showing my MOH and other BM. Going to try and keep it to that as I don't want to give too much away before the big day!
