Terrible pics but i am learning x

I never usually flash as i never knew how too but having a practice now - The photos really dont do any of them any justice as i cant seem to get a decent pic of some of it. But all madeby my fair hands x


This is the wrong way round but you ge the idea - its my bouquet!

    They look gorge! where did you get your roses from? im trying to make my own flowers too but cant find any nice roses but they look lovely!x

    Nearly all my materials came from ebay except for a few of the flowers that came from a small stall set up in town!

    Thank you girls, i have other stuff i have made too but need to get round to taking the pics xx

    I dont chic but i do know i brought all floristry stuff from a seller on ebay called Sararichardsuk she sells loads on there and it changes weekly i signed up for her newsletter, i just ordered bits as i went along until i had collected enough, she has a huge range of colours x

    Wow! Your flowers look fantastic! ?

    Using flash can often be tricky but you've really made a good job of it. If you are sometimes not happy with your results there are a couple of things you can try. Firstly, if your flash head can tilt and swivel, tilt it up and bounce the flash off the ceiling which softens and spreads the light making things more flattering and evenly lit. Secondly, and often the best, dont use flash at all but move whatever it is you are photographing into a pool of light, or even take them outside. Window light can be particulalry good and you can move the subject through various differing angles to get different effects.

    Yes i made the jewellery and the headdresses too! I have made lots, i have started making the flower centrepieces too and made my own sparkly additions to go in them. And i sewn crystals onto plain dresses for the bridesmaids but i am hopeless at photographing them. Thanks Phillip for your advice i will have a go at taking some better pics of them x
