Tesco home delivery - a quick question

Pookiedoodle, 9 November, 2008 at 20:38 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 4

?

I've just completed my first ever online grocery shop.

I'm confuzzled about the offers, and how they take the money off, this is what it said in my confirmation email...

The total guide price is £138.56*. This does not include any savings from Multisave or Internet Exclusive promotions. These extra deductions will be made when your order is delivered.

How do they deduct it when it's delivered if I've already paid with my card???

I don't get it!

?

The total is the total without offers. You will have put your card details in but the total you will pay will be whatever is delivered. So, for instance, some of your shopping might not be available or might be substituted.

When your delivery arrives you will be given a list of your shopping and your total will be on this list, including any multi save offers. This is what you will pay.

Thanks ever so much, I was fretting far too much about that.

When the driver comes, he /she will tell you about anything they've had to change and show you the final proposed total, which you sign for, then that's the final figure they deduct from your card.
