Dear everyone,
Thank you so so much for all your support over the past few days. I know there are so many otters dealing with pretty difficult issues at the moment so I really appriciate everyone's kind words and people taking time to comment and listen to my ramblings. It might seem like a small thing but reading all your posts kept me going and gave me something else to concentrate on when things got particularly bad.
As an update Mr RK is doing really well. He is now able to get out of bed and sit in a chair unaided and has started eating again. For a brief moment yesterday he had some time without any kind of headache - which hasn't been the case for over 18 months. The nurses are saying he can probably come off the drip today and will be able to move about a bit more (very important for a 30 year old guy's pride not to feel like he's tethered to a bed!) He's still got a way to go and we're still not exactly sure what caused the problems and the collapse, but the medical staff are all feeling very positive. The doctors now seem to be leaning towards a virus of some sort but they are re-analysing his scans today.
Otter vibes are really exceptional and I'm sending hugs to all of you in return. To those who are still going through tough times hang in there and stay strong.
Love RK xx
Oh and here's the hugs n' stuff ?
