I would definitely except it as it would be the ring that my OH chose as one that he liked and thought i would like and the item of jewellery that he thought would be a wonderful accompaniment to a wonderful question! It's not my taste, i haven't gold jewellery since i was about 15. My only concern would be that if this was the most he could afford to buy how on earth could he afford a wedding?? Maybe there's an opening for Tesco Value Weddings .....?

Read my OH this and he said "well, every little helps" *drum roll* lolllll

I would have accepted no matter what. As it is my ring is absolutely gorgeous, so perfect and so me, but I would definitely have said yes whatever happened.

LOLing at the weekly shop list including ring.

I think this is truely an 'each to their own' situation. The ring is personally not my taste but it is the marriage proposal that is the important bit. The price of the ring means nothing to me. My h2b proposed without any preparation and we ended up going out together the next day to choose a ring. I got one from argos for £110 as I decided I would rather put the extra money towards the wedding and we have even been able to bring it forward a whole year! But I suppose our situation was different to most peoples as not only did I go and choose my own ring but I paid for half of it too!

Im like all you guys, i would also accept this ring, but would possibly want another one further down the line, has also dont really wear gold anymore. the reason i put the question how i did was because thats how they asked on the news, an it was too early in the morning for me to think of another way to ask this question, also forgot to mention tescos also do wedding rings for only £15, so maybe who knows tescos may start to do cheap weddings lol x
