Not really... ive been organizing my wedding for over 10 years, since my 'first' engagement (which was long before the likes of Facebook and we where teenagers so no one cared because the all predicted accurately that we wouldn't last) and before my current OH (7 years and a child together so this one lasting pretty well lol) and I still have 4 years to wait, so Ive had all the answers/plans/spreadsheets etc... long before anyone asked for them so I cant really relate to any of it yet lol

I've narrowing skirted 30 several times (thou 'chair cover gate' was a close one and hilarious) and have done 31 numerous times!

I never ever planned my wedding ever. not even as a little girl. I was engaged for 5 years and STILL didn't plan a thing til i was ready too. Much to the frustration of my mother. I'm flighty, what i like now will change in 3 months so i saw no point to doing anything til the time called for it because I'd only be re-doing it again. Wish i was so organised but my mind drift off too much!

Am I the only one who really doesn't understand why wedding planning is so 'stressful'? Has no one else ever organised a surprise party before??? Now THAT'S stressful! I've found wedding planning soooo easy, got engaged end of April and we're getting married in February, YES I agree that some areas can be difficult e.g. guest list and YES my mum (who I love dearly) has annoyed me with her constant opinions...but at the end of the day it's really not that difficult! I've loved it and will definitely need something else to 'plan' when it's all over!

Im not stressed at all either

I doubt my mam will be a problem, im not expecting anyone to pay so they have no say (although knowing family they may donate £300 or so but its not required or expected) my mam always said she hoped I would elope so there would be no stress lol

Hmmmm, yeah I find it stressful but thats me and my personality type.

This made me laugh! I NEVER thought about 'my wedding' until I got engaged and I was definitely the 'I'll just have a small intimate wedding' type. Well that didn't last!

Lol I can relate to most of it. I'm not really stressed by it but I do curse myself for the number of DIY projects I've undertaken. I know there's still loads of time but I'm a teeny tiny bit bored of looking at fancy paper, buttons, washi tape and glue. The favours almost sent me over the edge. Up until recently I've used the butterfly paper punch and guillotine to alleviate my stress but I now have absolutely no idea what I'm doing with 800+ paper butterflies!

    confetti Smiley laugh

My stress really stems from money. Being a child living on the breadline spending money scares the hell out of me and my OH is from a rather more better off family (thou not rich) So he's very lax about spending. so buying a house between us was like pulling teeth ... the wedding has been just as been much of the same.

fortunately I've had some commissions land on my door to distract me from those pastel coloured wedding mags! theres nothing left to really plan, i need to stop!

That's funny, and some of it accurate for me. I've not really found it very stressful though (so far), as we've had 18 months to plan and I'm pretty much organised.

The only thing that has bothered me is my failing friendship with one of my BMs. But that's another matter entirely!
