Memo to self - do not read Wikipedia before the finale. It gives the winner. Well, either that or it guesses. Argh. Didn't want to know. Didn't want to know. 40 minutes to go!

Bless his cotton socks. I wonder if his language will improve or he'll still swear as soon as he gets a bit excited

It was obvious at the point where he said something along the lines of "Claire, I don't know if I could put up with you" or words to that effect.

Gah, was hoping it'd be Claire. Wikipedia was right - wonder how they got that one?

My mistake - sorry! Had a bit of a dim moment about Lee and Alex's ages!

Hmmm... Not sure Suh Alan went for the best candidate, but he chose the more malleble person, I think. Claire would have been much harder work.

Shouted "Come on!" and "That's what I'm talking about" a lot!

    Swore.

    Made weird noises.

Made rubbish suggestions when brainstorming ideas.

I really thought he would go for Claire. I am interested to hear what Alex, Claire and Helene have to say you're Fired.

Michelle, in series 2 - who got pregnant by a fellow candidate, miscarried & then resigned from the job.

Just got a text message from my sister: "Claire's the real winner - Lee's a total numpty".

Yelled at Sara when she came back from the boardroom about not pulling her weight - despite being on the opposite team.

They were all crap and Lee was a fraction less crap than the others. I have to say the cheesy 70's advertising campaign for 'Roulette' had me in stitches - it was hilarious.

Anyone notice how thoroughly uncomfortable Simon from last year looked when the cameras were on him? Wonder what the story is there....?

I suspect that was editing rather than what actually happened though - you didn't actually see him speaking to her, you saw him saying peopole need to pull their weight, and you saw her face looking shocked. There was nothing to suggest taht he was saying it to her, or indeed that her raction was even to what he was saying.

They do it on Kitched Nightmares too - people arguing in the kitchen, diners turning around looking towards them. What's actually happening is that they're looking for their dinner at some other time and can't hear any row at all. Editing it just makes it look better...or worse IYSWIM.

Sara seemed really pleased for him on You're Hired. I thought it was a bit awkward with Suralan and last year's winner Simon?

This year's Simon looked a bit jittery and like he was about to cry I thought.

Simon Ambrose & Sur Alan's Son Simon had a huge barney - grapevine has it as Ambrose was sidelining at the expence of Amsprop. I did think (& sure read somewhere) he no longer works there.

Also the Hotel/Golf resort near Stanstead maybe a no goer. Unless Stanstead gets the go ahead for a new runway - Airport will be mainly for family holiday makers & those who live near the airport.
