Strawberry Cheesecake Muffins, from the Hummingbird book.

You can come for tea at HatTrick Towers then, you'd fit in well. Although Big Johns might be a safer option...

Here's tonights masterpiece. It may look like any normal lasagne (or bolognese because the mince mix is on top...this is my mum's own recipe and my first try and yes for some reason mum always finishes with a layer of mince)

Not only is this mum's extra yummy recipe, but she even amended it to make it SW friendly!!! AND if I do say so myself....mine was nearly as good as hers!!!!

So here we go....the unimpressive looking....but ever so yummy and FREE yes FREE on SW Lasagne with SW potato wedges!

Vix - doesn't the mince dry out if it's on the top with no cheese or white sauce?

    I ❤️ lasagne.

Hmm well I can't say I've really noticed it being 'dry' but now that I think about it I guess so, I like it like that though so its ok. Also as you're taking a slice of the whole 'sandwich' and getting the cheesy mixture as well as the lower layer of mince you don't really notice. I must ask mum why she does this. All I know is this is the only lasagne I can eat, most shop bought or restaurant ones don't do it for me! Hahah

ETA In case anyone's wondering, cos its done in a strange order, this is how its built

lasagne sheets, cheesy mix, cheese, bolognese, lasagne, cheesy mix, cheese, bolognese

    bake

I might give it a go. We usually have lasagne at least once a week so it will make it a little different.

I once had it upside down in a pub but I thought they'd just been lazy and tipped it out like that but maybe they nicked your mom's recipe ?

I'm very impressed with all the cake baking. I can't even cook those packet ones where you just add water ?

Waaaa I knew there was something missing. I made some last Sunday and it was just like a soggy gloop ?

I'm writing a letter of complaint to Betty Crocker to petition for clearer instructions!

    Err no ?

I'm sure the other ones only needed water adding. But there was definitely something wrong, so the missing egg would make sense.

I shouldn't be admitting to this on a public forum should I!

Aroha - they are ace! I did those spider cupcakes a while back for Halloween. Are they the ones using Nutella? If you want to do a hair/grass effect again, easiest way to do it is with a piping bag & nozzle (Wilton #233).
