I just read an article about a new TV show called The Briefcase, where a struggling family are offered $101,000 then told they can either keep it or give it to another family in need.

I find it absolutely disgusting that TV bosses are making a profit out of shows like this!

What are your thoughts? It puts me off watching channels that show things like this.

I think so! After meeting the other family then making their decision publicly. But they don't know they get to keep it until after hey make their decision.

I don't think they do get to keep it. I believe the twist is that's the other family they've been made to feel sorry for have also been given the 101k and made to do the same thing. Potentially (or so I read) one family could give theirs away and the other family keep theirs, and leave one family with nothing and the other with 202k
