The Bull Hotel Gerrards Cross

I'm trying to decide between The Bull and Pendley Manor but just hadn't heard of anyone who has held a wedding at The Bull so that good to know.

I've worked at Pendley Manor too, I live just down the road from it, and that's lovely too. I'd say Pendley Manor is a slightly more grand venue with bigger grounds and a spa. But it depends what sort of wedding you want. Juliet x

Think I'm going to go with the Bull due to costs. Though Pendley Manor is beautiful.

I've performed at a few events at The Bull and have always found it to be a good venue, with pleasant staff.

The Bull is a nice venue and has some great grounds for photos.

Didn't like the Bull. Rooms pokey and pricey, also very smelly. Staff surly and unhelpful. The hotel itself on a very busy main road opposite a common where there has been a lot of local crime, apparently. Not for me.

Martin, I know that not all the rooms at the Bull are furbished to the same standard so I am going to have to make sure my guests book the right rooms if we end up having our reception there!

Where are you having your reception out of interest? You sound like ytou are from the Home Counties area?

I went to a Christmas party at the Bell about 5 years ago. I don't recall anything bad, but I don't recall any special memories either, but it was just a christmas party.
