I originally wanted a reasonably priced mermaid shaped lace dress with a strapless sweetheart neckline - something simple! I was adamant about that style...until I tried on this dress!! Spending way more than originally planned too but hey ho, as they say 'you only get married once!' :-D
I fell in love with this dress and every other one I tried on afterwards just didn't compare. I have quite broad shoulders as I swim quite a lot and I felt that this dress made me look feminine and well just a lot girlier than I normally do. I didn't pick out this dress in the shop - the assistant did and I was so surprised. The main reasons I like this dress so much is because 1) it'll look amazing in the photographs, 2) I'll never wear a dress like this ever again (i'll probably get the opportunity to wear a tight fitting one again at some point), 3) it seemed to be different to many of them out there.
Trying to keep it a secret from all my friends (except BM) and just wanted to share the excitement :-)
