The dress says it all...

Mrs2014, 15 February, 2014 at 12:02 Posted on Planning 0 12

Morning everyone,

so I have finally purchased the wedding dress..I had a top three which consisted of justin alexander 8160, berketex sandra and berketex heaven...I loved them all!!!

however the berketex heaven was the one which suited my figure and gave me the perfect figure I was looking for with what I 'have' ( being a plus size it's been difficult ) and with the help of spanx it has done the job...

anyway

im now struggling with accessories..the dress has some much embellishment I'm not sure how much I can add with out it then taking away the beautiful detail of the dress and being a fit ott with 'bling'

Any ideas?

    Your dress is lovely.

    SunnyOrangeFlowers21 - here's a pic from the Berketex website

I'd be tempted to keep your jewellery really simple. What about something like this?

I agree - a really simple statement pendant, or maybe some wow earrings? Maybe even a sparkly choker?

    Your dress is absolutely gorgeous!!!!

My dress is a bit blingy so I'm just going to wear my mums single pearl necklace.

Have you got something like that you can wear?

I have a charm bracelt belonging to my great grandmother which has pasted along every first born daughter...but that's yellow gold..it's so gorgeous and has so much meaning and history behind it the only slight prob is it being yellow gold..and my wedding ring/engagement ring are all platinum so think that will look odd so I'm going to do something else with that ... My shoes are pretty wild ..but they are 'hidden' under all the tulle from skirt so may have a rummage in my mil jewellery box to see what I can find Smiley smile

FSIL had Berketex Heaven for her wedding last March and it is stunning! She wore a simple pendant on a short chain so it sat just in the hollow of her throat, and matching stud earrings as I think she had the same worry about going OTT with bling - and about a long pendant getting lost in her cleavage! She also had a tiara, which worked quite well with adding bling without taking away from the dress. It is such a lovely dress, and very flattering. ?

Thanks for all you suggestions Smiley smile I think I'm just going to go with subtle and just leave the dress to do the talking...it's a beautiful dress and it matcha my flower girls ( yes that's right I want my dess to match theirs lol ) this is more ivory than it looks in pics and the embellishment on their dresses match mine..they just have a cute pattern on the cheast
