The English Cheescake Company - Recs?

majix, 20 November, 2008 at 09:22 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 2

Morning!

I'm sure i've seen recommendations for this company on here before. Thinking of using them around Christmas - has anybody used them? And what was your experience like?

Their website has me drooling, but as they're not on the cheap side i'm a bit concerned about whether they live up to the hype Smiley smile

I bought the profiterole topped one and the new york one last year for xmas desert

omg they were gorgeous and huge , they were so thick we could only eat a small slice at a time , if i ever bought them again i would cut them in half and only defrost half, they arrived really quickly and were packed so well they sat in the shop in the dry ice all day and were still fine when i got them home and into my freezer

well worth it i reckon and they were delicious

i am not going to look this year as i know i will be so tempted and we wont be home for xmas lunch it will be a waste

    Thanks Cariad ?

Mr M is a bit "twenty quid for a cheescake?!?!?!?", but maybe now I can work on the idea that it will last a long time ? I've noticed you can get it delivered ready portioned, which would be handy!
