I have just received in my email inbox confirmation from Cancer Research that I have been entered in a 10k run in September!

OH did ask me about whether I fancied joining him for it on the Saturday, and, thinking I had the perfect excuse, told him that I would LOVE to... but was planning to take my horse to a one day event that day. So he, without asking, then notices that it is also running on the Sunday (enabling lucky me to do both events), and enters us both for that!

Just hope I don't fall off the nag and sustain any injuries on the Saturday ... ?

How romantic - a 10k run together 2 weeks before your big day!! ?

I'm very impressed that you can run that far - it'd kill me lol.

Its 4 months after our big day! And I can't run that far! Furthest I have run since breaking my ankle 2 years ago is about 4K!

But I think that my dreams of giving up exercise and eating nothing but junk food post wedding may just have been shattered....
