i dont want friggin milions of bridesmaids so why does everyone seem like i have to have her, or her, or your sisters friends baby or so and sos niece argh!

How about...I hate wedding planning, it's a bunch of arse and I would rather be in the pub?

Are there any rules?? Please say there are.. Like no text speak and no spelling words like "similar" wrong!

What about having to put up with people opinions when you didnt ask for them, there is being helpful/honest and then there is being just plain annoying for the sake of it !

Sadly there are no rules but maybe people could remember that I am practically a biddy compared to most people here and I'm not young or hip enough to understand or appreciate the art of text speak.

I admit I can be very fluffy at times but I wouldn't say I liked anything unless I meant it. Don't like fake fluffiness!

I'm with Flow on the army of BMs thing. I have a mini army, and yet relatives give me a hard time about not having more...

...and while I'm ranting, I get really annoyed when I suggest something I like, then doubt it because my friend doesn't. I need to get tougher!!!

It pisses me off with people giving lame excuses for not coming to your wedding, when you gave them almost a year's notice of your plans and location.

Thats me for sure!

Wedding planning has never been top of my list, which is why I will chose my venue on how much they can do for me so I dont have to do a lot of it (cant afford a planner)

I'm going to put it out there..... I am bored of this wedding admin.. The planning rules - the pretty stuff, spending money on dresses etc but Seating plans, OoS's, Booking other peoples hotels - sorry i'm not interested!!!

Can we whine about family/friends being disinterested?! I'm the Bride, do as I say damn it!!!!

@ BB - Don't get me started on that one!! My bridesmaid didn't remember our wedding date and had to be reminded by our PA to book it off - FFS is that too much to ask for.

She's also not replied to numerous Hen night texts - again, I know your busy but a yes or no would suffice!!!! (Hitting my keyboard too hard on those !! in frustration).

Me too - more than 50% of my budget is going on the honeymoon!

@ A vintage bride - Are you meant to read 'em? I thought they were JUST for the bride to read?! ?

Also - if one more person asks how much our wedding is costing I won't be responsible for my actions.

Random rant- It's not that I dont care about my wedding or that I don't want it to be 'personal' to me and OH but I have better things to do with my weekends that get creative and make everything for it- this is why there are companies who make things like invites, table decs etc- and no I don't think it's a waste of money so BOG OFF

Oh, another thing..............why the hell do i have to invite distant cousains and family ive rarely seen in me 28 yrs on this planet!? No Mother, i wont do it to 'keep the peace'..again, its my wedding and i want my FRIENDS there!!!
