The perfect thing to come home to after a hard Friday!

spacecadet_99, 26 June, 2009 at 17:47 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 11

I may have mentioned that it was my birthday on Monday ?

Well today has been a hard and stressful day and I was glad to get home. The more so when I saw a parcel waiting for me. I opened it and it's my birthday present from my best friend: https://www.handycandy.co.uk/tuckshop-classics-hamper-p-120.html

The note inside says 'I hope this a suitably mature gift for your 30th. Don't eat them all at once!'. I love my friend ?

Now the question is, how many should I eat tonight while MrSC is out at the cricket, and is it acceptable for them to replace my dinner?

You could definitely polish off the wham bars and the highland toffee IMHO

Just realised I didn't answer your question. I think I would find it hard to decide what to eat. And yes eating for sweets for tea is fine-just don't tell my children I said that?

You should eat all the things you like the most and yes, it is acceptable to replace your dinner.

    Very nice of your friend.

Well I was restrained, I've had the Sherbert Dip Dab, a packet of candy ciggies and some bubble gum. Oh and some unrelated chocolate ?

CBH, he isn't home yet which means either a) it's not raining in Worcester or b) (more likely) that they have found some sort of cricket equivalent to the 19th hole. I may have to leave the door of the spare room open in a pointed way ?

Spring - sorry, I've just realised I didn't reply to your email, sorry about that, it's been mad at work this week. Hope all is well with you?

That is an amazing present. I would not be able to resist and would have had to eat it all at once!!

Enjoy and happy birthday for Monday
