Me. I went to university in Sunderland so trying to see what has changed since then. I am only half watching though so thought I had misheard when he said that bit.

How long is it since you lived in Sunderland? Nowt much has changed the last few years.

Wow! I've been in the Welcome, and the Raich Carter! There's way more than what he's found, Hendon is being regenerated atm, its a long term project!

I know it's important to remember the past and the industry we had here, but we don't half harp on about shipbuilding and coal mining in this city. It irritates me a little bit, like we can't move on from it.

They are both single. He said he is lonely at the start and would love to meet Ms Right.

<ungrateful icon> He didn't seem to give away much compared to others, £40k in total, and it doesn't really solve the problems as it two lots were to pay salaries, so they will be stuck again in a years time.

We've recorded this to watch later as MrS was born and brought up around Hendon. and Sunderland in general He'll probably just shout and get annoyed by it though...

I think they missed a trick with the ship centre, they should be bringing the youngs uns in the area and passing on the skills, they clearly love what they do and teaching others. He's investing time in the area and Hendon badly needs people who want to make a difference. He's popping up every few weeks by the sounds of it and that means as much as the cash. Lynne is obviously over the moon with the post, sometimes a little breathing space is valuble, she'll be able to do more fundraising, its a domino effect.

I didn't enjoy it at all this week, I just feel every time I watch it like the people he's helping have sussed it and he didn't really seem to get close to the people like previous millionaires have. I think he fancied the lady from the fitness place too.
