The secret millionaire

Is it a different night to normal? I'm watching Amazon and have for the past few weeks, but don't seem to have missed SM? (Maybe I've watched repeats?!)

I really enjoyed last weeks (lady who took her son with her) but was disappointed to see that it was a repeat of an old one this week so i'm not watching anymore.

I've not seen this one before but I don't like the format at all. He's spending so much time trying to find work himself that he doesn't really have time to find any worthy causes. I prefer the voluntary work format of the other programmes.

How much did he give the nice couple? I was talking ? and the last guy?

£10,000 to the lady for childminding, £15,000 to the Portuguese couple with the cafe and £5,000 to the guy at the end.

Ah, he's redeemed himself by going back to help the Portuguese couple after they were declared bankrupt. He had come across as a bit of a cold fish before that. He looked very uncomfortable when people hugged him and walked away from the last guy when he was crying on the sofa.

Well that wasn't the best one Ive seen. It's a shame that couple went bankrupt shortly after they got the money, I wonder what they did with his cash.

He is a cold fish. Not to mention an egotist with ideas of celebrity. I'm not surprised to see him turn up on this programme and I'm equally unsurprised by peoples response to him.

I didn't enjoy watching last night's episode either. It didn't seem as genuine as when they visit people who give their time and effort to charity work.

The cynic in me also thought that it wasn't actually a surprise to anyone that he was a millionaire and giving money away at the end.

Yeah, didnt like last nights one either, was it a repeat? I know (know of) the guy from last nights programme, and whenever ive spoke to him in real life he didnt come across very nice either. Have served him, when i was waitressing at college. £38 bill, paid with either a £100 or a £50 note, and he didnt leave a tip. He got good service, and left me no tip!

I may be wrong, but i think him and his company got into bother a few years back for employing illegal immigrants without permission to work in the UK.
