I am lost for words! What a vile person and what a great example for mother of the year as well - not!

She looks/sounds drunk or drugged up.

I think the saddest thing is that her child doesn't look bothered by the outburst - used to it perhaps? Poor little thing.

I saw it at work yesterday- totally shocked at the vile woman- she is clearly on a substance or two.

Opened up a debate today though- would you have got involved at the time if you saw it happeneing? I would like to say yes but then in the reality of the situation, faced with a potentially drugged up/drunk woman would I be as brave?

@Mini; I would and have done before. I can't sit back and watch that type of behaviour.

Yeah that's what OH said -his words "she looks off her face" I was disgusted watching it but also fascinated watching the people around her - at one point the guy behind her had to be restrained by some of the other passengers. I personally wouldn't know how to react if I was there if I had my son with me(who looks around the same age as hers) I would be appalled and would have gotten off at the next opportunity but wouldn't have said anything in case it became a physical dispute. I just can't believe this still happens Smiley sad

I would have said something and have done in the past.. A 6 foot dude once squared upto me when I confronted him about his disgusting behaviour towards a Turkish bloke. Horrid behaviour, she looks coked up. Fingers crossed she gets more than a slapped wrist.

I have spoken up about this sort of thing before. When we first moved to MK, I was walking my kids to school for this first day and walking about 10 feet in front of us was a black lady with her children. She was wearing (what I presume to be) a traditional style African dress, very colourful and pretty. Walking towards us on the same side of the road was a youngish white bloke (typically Jezza style tracksuit and baseball cap) carrying a toddler on his hip. As he passed the lady and little boys in front of us, he yelled 'effing n-word' (you know what I mean!) at them. I stopped in my tracks, absolutely horrified and had a go at him for being so vile and abusive. I think my rant went something along the lines of "how dare you.. etc etc".

Later that day I saw him waiting outside my son's classroom to collect his daughter, glaring at me with a bunch of his similarly attired mates. Joy.

The lady in that video is truly vile but I think what she's saying is pretty much an embodiment of all the casually racist facebook statuses and Daily Mail headlines we see on a daily basis. The attitude itself is probably no more prevalent than ever before but there seems to be growing acceptance of expressing it in public.

Absolutely vile. The poor little boy, what a sad future he has ahead of him if that is his role model.

I didn't find the video shocking, disgusting yes. I think the UK has definitely become so much more racist over the last few years.

I wanted to slap her, I'm amazed so many people on that tram managed to keep calm/quiet. Hopefully she'll get a decent punishment for this, especially now that it's gone viral.

The worst thing about this video.......?

the fact that her little boy sat on her lap with her shouting, screaming, swearing and slurring clearly off her head on alcohol, or drugs (prescription or otherwise) with other people shouting back at her and he didnt so much as batt an eyelid.

I fear he is most likely used to those outbursts and it's bound not to be the last he hears!

    BROKEN BRITAIN!

On the racism point, she couldnt actually argue her point. Everyone is entitled to an opinion whether we like it or not (for the record I dont agree with her opinion one bit) but she was unable to even communicate in full sentences, just blurting words out. Disgusting!

I saw this the other day. What an absolute scummer! It's one thing having an opinion, but there are certain ways to voice that opinion, and that is not a good way!

I saw a comment posted below it along the lines of "Latest video campaign for the BMP" which I had a little chuckle at. It really wouldn't surprise me if it was the case.

The woman's been arrested since this, I've heard.

She should take a look in the mirror...it's people like her who are ruining Britain! ?
