The Tudor Barn, Burnham, Bucks - has anyone any experience of this venue...............

I've no experience of attending a wedding or getting married there but as a supplier I've delivered cakes there loads of times and always found the staff very helpful and the venue always looks lovely. I remember going there last January when it was a really gold wintery day but thought it looked lovely with a winter theme, been there a couple of times during the summer this year too when it's been bathed in sunshine and very pretty too.

Sorry can't help on food, service, price etc but as a supplier it's certainly one of the better ones we go to.

I just wondered because in the peak months such as August it costs £3,000 just to hire the venue. That without food etc and the minimum is 70 people. It just seems a bit like wasted money - most room hires at hotel aren't that much.

Anyone else with experience of this venue?

Must agree with Catherine. Friendly, efficient staff who know how to bring out the best in the venue and to give you your money's worth. I'm playing there again soon and looking forward to it.
