If you want to get married in a church (especially a catholic one), i think you will have to get special dispensation from your priest, possibly bishop, if h2b isn't baptised.

not overly sure as we are not religious, hence not getting married in a church, but am sure someone on here will be able to give you the right details.

When my nana died she was suffering from cancer .. she lived thru 8 years of pain and a week before she died she asked to be baptisted catholic , have her 1st communion and conformation ..

A priest came to the hospise and did this .. As my Nana sadly cant be here for my wedding and wasnt there for my school milestones and births of my daughters , i know getting married in the church would make her overly proud Smiley smile

My nana wasnt a religious praticer but she didnt drink or smoke or anything like that .. yet she died suffering .. I was baptised a catholic when i was 6 years old and all though im not a praticing catholic hence children before marriage ( as well as tipical college student behevour Smiley winking ) I do feel my nana is watchin over me and shes in the sky with the angels Smiley smile

When my nana was confimed the preist confirmed her Mary .. as when he asked her what she would like to be named after he thought she said Mary .. when it was actually Maria .. My nana been nana didnt aurgue and went ahead with it , but broke down when he went telling my mum she chose Maria ..

I took this name at my confirmation Smiley smile in memory of her .. xxx I miss her everyday .. I just hope we get accepted into the church ...

I know she will be proud no matter what but i really want this xxx

As you said the vicar is a she, I'm assuming that you are getting married in your local Church of England church? If so then you should be able to get married there, and doesn't matter if you are catholic, baptised or not baptised. They may ask you to go to wedding prep and to go to church to hear your banns being read too.
