I bought this as a joke for my H once and he was actually going to wear it to work (he works in IT). Luckily it didn't fit!!

In related news, a friend of H's posted on Facebook today that he was very chuffed to disvover in his W2B's Amazon shopping cart (I'm guessing they have a joint account) a very similar shirt bearing the slogan "I have an awesome fiancee". I was delighted to point out that fiancee with two Es refers to a female, so she was either buying the shirt to refer to a secret female she's having an affair with, or (probably the more likely scenario) buying it for him to wear. He was less pleased after that.

Since I saw this thread earlier i've seen the t-shirt posted on 4 different wedding groups. It's spreading!

I almost bought this while we were still out in Spain after the wedding in one of those tacky souvenir shops - purely because it had the word 'wife' on it and we had only been wives a day or so and therefore it was still quite novel.

Bet there's someone out there reading this who owns that t-shirt!!!

I didn't know that either. I wondered why it had two different spellings! We werent engaged for long enough for it to be a problem! Haha

I have a friend who used to work in a greeting card shop and would point it out to men when they tried to buy incorrectly gendered cards. She said they were always really annoyed

It exists, so they at least believe there's a market for it! The verse in a soppy card is one thing, but on a t-shirt?! I felt cheesy enough wearing a keep calm I'm the bride t-shirt on the morning of my wedding, and that was just for hair and make up!

God that's awful! Has to be American surely?
