As a matter of fact, yes I have! I did read some of the earlier posts though and gather there have been some performance issues and a couple of outages though. I read through some of the older posts and it looks like Darren asked people to stop swearing on the forum which I don't think is unreasonable, it is HIS forum after all, I saw the post and it seemed polite but firm to me, certainly nothing worth having a hissy fit over unless I missed an earlier post.

On the face of it I think it's a little unreasonable for people who are using a free forum to up in arms about it if it goes down temporarily or is running slowly, it's not like we are paying a subscription for it or anything. It's a freebie, I'm just grateful it's here and that Darren keeps it running, I've seen a few pulled over the years because posters become so militant and they become more trouble than they are worth to the forum owners.

I think what gets my goat is that people think they have a Right to use hitched and that it should run smoothly and quickly and when it went wrong lots of people were very quick to complain but nobody really stepped forward to offer constructive help or assistance to actually fix it. I want, I want, I want, me, me, me. I guess I just dont understand that perspective how people can use hitched for free and then complain about it so much.
